Tomorrow, ESPN’s college basketball pay per view Full Court (ESPN FC) has its first night of games. I have been so excited about coming home and watching some college basketball you can’t even believe. Comcast does not offer ESPN U which broadcast many games this past week. So, to fill the need for massive amounts of college basketball, I purchases ESPN's Full Court. I am a huge college basketball fan. I have been for over ten years. The back story to that is a topic for another day. But for now, let me get on to listing out tomorrow’s schedule of events.
William and Mary@ Penn St. 5:30 BIG10
Virginia Military @ Kentucky 6:00 ESPN FC
Texas San Antonio @ Oklahoma St. 7:00 ESPN FC
Florida A & M @ Kansas St. 7:00 ESPN FC
American University @ (14) Oklahoma 7:00 ESPN FC
Stetson @ (9) Texas 7:00 ESPN FC
St. Francis (PA) @ Texas Tech 8:00 ESPN FC
Long Island @ St. Johns 8:00 ESPN FC
Miss. Valley St. @ (15) Arizona St. 9:00 FCSP
What will I be looking at in these Friday Night Fights? Will Penn St. do anything to show they are putting an emphasis on improving their defense? You have to enjoy watching Kentucky. I am also a fan of Billy Gillespe. His team has to have better luck this year. I am a huge Oklahoma St. fan. They have to return to the NCCA tourney someday right? What does Kansas St. do with its three 6-10 guys? Will one of them be an animal in the paint? If so, it will have to be Abdul Herrera. How does Oklahoma look right out of the gate? I can’t wait for Oklahoma vs. Texas in Big 12 conference play. Yes, I will watch Texas Tech basketball. My brother is a professor there, and for some reason I am wish Pat Knight a great and long career there. How good will Arizona St. play Friday night? Who will step up and help Harden and Pendergraph on the offensive end? How tough will State’s perimeter defense be? Who will look more impressive and competitive, Texas or Oklahoma? I guess you are right, other than it is college basketball I am not sure why I am going to watch St. Johns either!
Then on Saturday it is off to Champaign for the Illini vs. Ohio St. game. My buddy has tickets in a luxury suite, so I will be eating good and staying warm. Saturday afternoon or Sunday at latest I will post with some thoughts on the games. Till then, have a good one.
